Butler doctor held for trial on sexual assault charges
Tuesday, November 03, 2009

Dr. David Allen Evanko, 56, of Butler, was held for court this evening on charges of sexual assault, unlawful contact with a minor, corruption of minors, endangering the welfare of children and indecent assault.

The charges, which stem from incidents between April 2008 and March 2009, involved two males, ages 15 and 17.

In May, Dr. Evanko was held for court on charges of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and other offenses after two brothers testified that he molested them when they were Boy Scouts 20 years ago.

He is free on bond.

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette does not name alleged victims of sexual assault.
