ANAHEIM, Calif. -- Penguins right winger Tyler Kennedy, who has missed the past three games with what is believed to be a groin injury, is expected to return to the lineup tonight against the Anaheim Ducks.
"Looks like Tyler will be back in tonight," coach Dan Bylsma said after the team's morning skate at Honda Center. "Tyler's had about a week to get better and is skating well and ready to go, so he should be in there tonight. He adds a little jump to our lineup."
Kennedy has five goals, including three game-winners, and one assist in 11 games.
At the morning skate, he practiced primarily with Craig Adams at center and Matt Cooke on the left side, but Bylsma said the effective line of Cook and Kennedy with center Jordan Staal might be used "for a couple shifts tonight."
